 Let's Get Back To Basics

Depending on who’s counting which numbers, the crime rate is up and the crime rate is down. Regardless, violence,

destruction, and injury flood our living rooms, into our conversations, our experiences, and our realities.

Infected. Integrated. Normalized.

Despite the fact that attitudes, misconceptions, and fundamental personal belief systems continue to support an environment of increased violence in  homes and our communities, some things are still not ok.

No more violence. No more victims.

We need to get back to basics.

It’s not ok to drive drunk.

It’s not ok to make someone have sex with you.

It’s not ok to hit anyone.

It’s not ok to take something that’s not yours.

It’s not ok to hurt someone because of who they are.

It’s not ok to hit your child.

It’s not ok to kill someone.

It’s not ok to have sex with your children.

It’s not ok to hit your wife.

It’s not ok to hit someone you love.
